Preparing a perfect, hard-boiled egg may seem simple but more often it is not. How often do you have a boiled egg that is still too soft? With some small tips you will get really perfect boiled eggs in just a few minutes.
The first thing to do is put the eggs in a pot and fill it with water. The water must completely cover the eggs.
Put the eggs on a high heat until the water starts to boil. When the first bubbles appear, turn off the heat but leave the eggs in hot water for 17 minutes, covering the pot with a lid.
After this time, remove the hot water and cover the eggs with cold water. let it rest for a couple of minutes, remove the water and add more cold water.
Let the eggs rest for another 20 minutes. At this point peel them and eat them.
It will probably not be a very fast procedure and it will take a little more time but you will get really perfect hard boiled eggs that will allow you to make extraordinary dishes!
